1Who we are
This policy explains how ClearShift ("we", "us") collects and uses personal information when you visit this website, contact us, or buy a product. If you have questions, reach us through our contact form.
2What we collect
- When you buy: our checkout provider, Whop, collects your name, email address and payment details to process the order. We receive your name, email, what you bought, the price and the order date. We never receive your full card number.
- When you contact us: the name, email, topic and message you type into the contact form.
- When you browse: technical information such as your IP address, browser, device type, pages visited and the ad that brought you here. This comes from our hosting provider's logs and from advertising tools such as the Meta Pixel, described below.
Please never include patient information in a message to us. We don't need it and don't want it.
3How we use it
- To deliver your purchase and give you access to your files.
- To answer your questions and handle refund requests.
- To keep records of sales for accounting and tax purposes.
- To understand which ads and pages work, and to show our ads to people likely to find the sheets useful.
- To protect the site and prevent fraud and spam.
We don't send marketing emails unless you've agreed to receive them, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.
4Cookies and the Meta Pixel
We use the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to measure how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. It may set cookies and send Meta information such as the pages you view and whether you made a purchase. Meta uses this under its own privacy policy.
You can control ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, block third-party cookies in your browser, or use a browser extension that blocks trackers. The site still works if you do.
The site also loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers and shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
5Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the service providers who help us run ClearShift, and only as much as they need:
- Whop: checkout, payments, file delivery and refunds.
- Netlify: website hosting and the contact form.
- Meta: advertising measurement, as described above.
- Google Fonts: loading the website's fonts.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of selling or transferring the business. We do not sell your personal information.
6How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal reasons. We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to help you, and then delete them within 24 months. Hosting and advertising data is kept according to those providers' own retention settings.
7Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or US states such as California), you may have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or limit certain uses, including targeted advertising;
- withdraw consent you've given us at any time.
To make a request, send us a message through our contact form. We'll reply within the time the law requires, and we won't treat you differently for using these rights. If you're unhappy with our answer, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
8International transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they use recognized safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect data transferred across borders.
9Security
The site runs over HTTPS, payments are processed by Whop rather than by us, and we limit who can access customer information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
10Children
ClearShift is made for nursing students and working nurses. The site isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
11Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change is significant, we'll make it clear on the site.
12Contact
For any privacy question or request, send us a message through our contact form.
